Ashok Poshiya

Ashok Poshiya is an entrepreneur and the founder of C6 Lab Grown Diamonds, a Surat-based CVD diamonds and jewelry manufacturing company. With over three decades of experience in the diamond industry, Poshiya is a respected figure in the industry and has been instrumental in driving innovation and growth in the lab-grown diamond sector.

Poshiya's journey in the diamond industry began when he started working as an apprentice in a small diamond polishing unit in Ahmedabad (Guj) India. Over time, he gained valuable experience in various aspects of the industry, from polishing and cutting to trading and manufacturing.

In 1990, Poshiya founded his own diamond cutting and processing machineries company, which specialized in traditional cut and polished mined diamonds machineries. However, he soon realized the potential of lab-grown diamonds and decided to pivot his business towards this growing market with CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) technology.

Under Poshiya's leadership, C6 Lab Grown Diamonds has become a leading player in the lab-grown diamond industry, known for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and ethical practices. He has been recognized for his contribution to the industry with various awards and honors, including the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by India's Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council.
